Dr. Shigezawa grew up in Manoa Valley and Hawaii Kai. She graduated from Punahou School and then received her B.S. and M.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan.

She graduated from The University of Michigan Medical School, receiving the Outstanding Student in Obstetrics and Gynecology Award and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Hawaii Integrated Residency Program. Dr. Shigezawa is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Assistant Clinical Professor at John A. Burns Schoolof Medicine.

Dr. Shigezawa has three grown children and is married to Richard Podolny, family medicine physician.

Her hobbies include ballet, yoga, making jewelry, and gardening.

Napha was born in Laos and is fluent in Laotian and Thai.

She graduated from Farrington High School and received her Medical Assistant degree from Leeward Community College. She has 2 children and enjoys gardening.

Clarissa grew up in Waipahu. She graduated from Waipahu High School and then from Med-Assist School of Hawaii.

Although English is her primary language she also understands some Ilocano. She has one daughter and loves shopping and spending time with family and friends.
